With immediate effect, Consulate General of Singapore in Chennai has started issuing visa for short term categories. Find below the checklist for Tourist/Business visa.

SINGAPORE VISA TOURIST CHECKLIST

1. Original Passport valid for 6 months,If traveled to Singapore old passports Required,
2.  Duly filled Application form 14A | Authorization letter
3. Authorization Letter signature from applicant and contact no
4. Photographs latest fresh photo 3 Nos (size 3.5mm x 4.5mm Semi matt finish, face image 80% close, and white background)
5. Covering letter it should to addressed to the visa officer to Singapore consulate Chennai
6. Ticket onward and return
7. Hotel confirmation
8. If applicant is working - need to give occupation proof ( Hr Letter }, salary slip last 3 months, personal bank statement last 3 months

• If they are Businessman, proprietor, partner, self-employed mention clear details in covering letter (covering letter should be type in company letterhead, company registration copy or Gst and personal bank statement last 3 months.
• Retired person (govt pension book Xerox copy ,or relaving letter / private company retired proof relaving letter  and any proof
• Lady traveling alone husband occupation proof and noc from husband and husband passport copy
• If they are student - school/ college id card Xerox and Bonafede.
• Visiting relative (invitation letter signature person email id contacts no clearly, v39a form, inviter passport copy 1st and last page Xerox and Fin-card copy or NRIC card copy, with relationship proof must

Singapore Business Visa

Requirements

1. Original Passport with at least 6 months validity from date of travel to Singapore - If traveled earlier to Singapore all old passports Required
2. Application Form 14A with passenger’s Signature. Photo to be affixed in the form & cross signed by the passenger
3. 2 colored photographs with white background, 35x45mm in size taken in the last 2 months with face covering 80% of the photo area in Glossy Finish
4. Original Covering Letter from the Company indicating the purpose of travel, Passport No, travelling companions (to list name and passport number) Travel Dates, Monthly/Annual Income details & contact no
5. Salary slips for the last 3 months
6. Last 3 months bank statement of the passenger with sufficient balance
7. Letter of Invitation and V39 from with seal and sign from Singapore company
8. Authorization letter to signed ( no need to Fill )
